Equestrian NSW would like to congratulate the NSW team which won the CCI*J teams event at the Melbourne 3DE in June.

"The team (pictured above), comprising of Emma Hindmarsh and CP Brown (4th individually), Hayley Frielick and Bentleigh Oliver (6th individually), Andrew Cooper on Guest of Honour (7th individually) and Kirby Delamont and Badger Bay (14th individually) was victorious over two Victorian teams and a string South Australian team. 

In the past, NSW eventing juniors have struggled for support in the team competitions but this year - as part of the EvNSW Junior and YR Development Program and Star Squad initiative - we deciding to do things differently. EvNSW underwrote part of the cost of sending a team coach, Sharmayne Spencer, to coach and manage the team, as well as NSW juniors riding individually - a tactic employed in the past by Qld, SA and Vic junior teams. It certainly paid off! (Andrew Cooper and Kirby Delamont also won best presented.)."
