Eventing NSW has an extensive Youth Development program.
This includes squads for emerging athletes as well as developing the skills of junior riders within the sport who are performing well at the lower levels.
Junior Development Squads provide guidance and training to junior athletes with quality performances at Introductory, Preliminary and Pre-Novice levels.
The Junior Development Squads cater for riders in the North, South, West of the State as well as those based in the Sydney basin.
In 2010 the NutriRice Junior Star Squad provided training and development of athletes competing at 1-star and above. In 2011 this will be modified as specialist training for emerging athletes is to become the preserve of Equestrin Australia.
